Full-time

Compensation:
$65,000 – $250,000 (hourly + commission)

Mortgage Loan Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Present, evaluate, qualify, and sell valuable financial solutions tailored to the client’s needs.
  • Build rapport and a relationship with the client.

  • Loan Officers are on the front lines of helping borrowers buy homes, pull cash out of their homes, and build an overall financial transaction that will set the borrower up for financial ease.

  • Verify the application is complete and the accuracy of the system input. Verifies documentation submitted and identifies any potential issues that may arise in underwriting.

  • Performs an initial review and analysis of the borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets as required by the loan program. Responsible to hand over a completely documented file to the processor for approval or denial.

  • Directly communicates with customer, processor, and management to get the loan to closing.

  • Manage pipeline by reports within allotted turn-around times.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of residential mortgage lending experience with active NMLS license.
  • Knowledge of RESPA guidelines, general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer and system skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
